Barrage Meldorf

We are proud to be a reliable and longstanding partner for the hydraulic steel work industry for locks and flood barriers as well as hydro power plants.

The six electric linear actuators we supplied for the barrage in Meldorf were put into operation. The barrage was built in 1977 and originally equipped with wooden gates. These wooden gates could no longer be repaired and were replaced by new steel gates with new anchoring and electric drives.

After a successful modification and commissioning of the electrical drives on the flood gates in Meldorf - Schleswig-Holstein, are the barriers now improved and fully operational again, to prevent flooding in the back-country.

The electric linear actuators have a pulling force of 485 kN, a compressive force of 785 kN and protection class IP68.
